Keeping Up In Computers
A provisional order for further storage capacity for the University of Canterbury’s computer had already been placed, the Vice-Chancellor (Professor N. C. Phillips) told the University Council meeting on Monday. He was replying to a question from Sir Joseph Ward, who asked what could be done to keep up to date with computer facilities. Sir Joseph Ward said it bad been indicated that Canterbury was in danger of falling behind in this field.
