Electra To Be Busy

(N.Z. Press Assn. —Copyright) SYDNEY, April 1.

The only Electra aircraft in service with Qantas would spend about 21 hours a day over the next five days in flights between Australia and New Zealand, a Qantas spokesman said in Sydney today. The aircraft will make four daily flights. It will be the first time an Electra has been used on such flights for five consecutive'days. The spokesman said the aircraft was being pressed into service from tomorrow to cope with the Easter holiday traffic between Australia and New Zealand and to overcome the problem of landing a large-capacity long-haul aircraft at Wellington and Melbourne.
