Plan Changed By Yachtsman

CV.Z.P. A.-Reuter— Copyright) CAPE TOWN, March 19. The lone French yachtsman, Mr Bernard Moitessier, has passed through Table Bay Harbour apparently abandoning any attempt to win the round-the-world solo race now In progress. Instead of turning north after rounding Cape Hom, he seems to be setting out on a second voyage round the globe. Mr Moitessier, in his yacht Joshua, flung a parcel of letters on to a harbour boat yesterday before turning out to sea again. One of them, addressed to the local yatch club, said he rounded Cape Horn on February 5 and intended to pass Australia’s Cape Leeuwen, and Cape Hom again, before returning home.
