EXPORTS TO HAWAII
In the last four months, j Biscay Products, of Christ-j church, had sold $120,000; worth of New Zealand-made goods in Honolulu, said the ! export sales director of the! firm (Mr T. A. Griffiths). j The exports involved $95,000 worth of plastics goods and beer, timber and! furniture.
Surveys were being made in Hawaii about New Zealand , instant foods, carpets and j canned goods for distribution ! from display and warehous- j ing space organised by Biscay Products in the Honolulu free trade zone.
Mr Griffiths left for Honolulu yesterday to negotiate more export sales with Hawaii.
