Good Response To D.B. Offer
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 25. Dominion Breweries, Ltd, has received acceptances of its take-over offers from the holders of more than 50 per cent of the issued capital of both Taranaki Brewery, Ltd. and Tui Brewery, Ltd, and from more than 50 per cent of Tui convertible noteholders.
The offers remain open until March 7, and Dominion has until March 12 to declare them unconditional.
Mauri Turnover. (N.Z. Press Association) SYDNEY, February 24. The turnover and profit of Mauri Bros, and Thomson, Ltd, for the half-year ended November 30 were substantially the same as those for the corresponding period of the previous year, the company reports.
