Auckland Threat

LV.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Feb. 24.

A dispute which could affect all North Island freezing works threatens to flare up in Auckland tomorrow. Auckland freezing workers intend to stop work from 9.30 a.m. unless their employers aUow seven Taranaki union delegates to visit Auckland freezing works.

The employers have refused the men permission to visit the works.

The secretary of the North Island Freezing Workers’ Federation, Mr T. Collerton, said tonight that the Auckland union had notified him of its intention and asked that similar action be taken in all freezing works in the North Island.
