Power Board Resignation

(from Our Own Reporter? TIMARU, February 24. Mr N. S. Brown, deputy chairman of the South Canterbury Electric Power Board ■■ since 1965, has resigned. Mr Brown, who has been farming at Totara Valley for 15 years, has sold his property and will leave for Wellington early in March. He has been appointed Wellington manager of Gough, , Gough, and Hamer, Ltd. Mr Brown has been a memj ber of the New Zealand • : National Party for many ‘ i years and has held executive positions in the Waitaki electorate, Otago-Southland diviI sion, Ashburton electorate, I and Canterbury-Westland diviI sion of the National Party.
