(From Our Own Reporter) TIMARU, Feb. 23. The 2500 ft north rock buttress of 9715 ft Mount Darwin, in the Mount Cook area, was climbed on Saturday for only the third time. Ranger R. Ryan, of Mount ;Cook National Park head- ; quarters, said that the ascent, made from the Tasman Saddle Hut (7700 ft was especially significant in that, | New Zealanders accomplished I the feat for the first itme. | They are Messrs W.
