Other Ghanaians would be trained by the New Zealanders to become supervisors when the New Zealanders returned home. The Christchurch staff would fly to Ghana this month and next month. Six wives and 14 children would be making the trip. Mr Becker said that the New Zealanders would live in two and three-bedroom flats in a compound built by Firestone.
