SILVER MEDAL WINNER.—This is the hammermill and mixer which gained for A. M. Bisley and Company a silver medal at the Christchurch Show. From the hopper at the left the whole grain is drawn into the hammermill (centre) and then into the main hopper. Concentrates fed into the small unit at the foot of the hopper are mixed with the milled grain by an auger. A by-pass at the top of the main hopper carries dust into a cloth catcher.
