Fracas At Domain

(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, January 7. An 18-year-old youth, K. V. Anderson, of Mount Roskill, is in Auckland Hospital suffering from concussion after a fracas at the Muriwai Domain motor camp last night. He is alleged to have been assaulted by a gang of youths who gatecrashed a party being held in a tent. The police were called by the camp caretaker, Mr K. A. Lovell. No arrests were made, but the youths involved in the incident were told to leave the camp this morning. During the trouble Mr Lovell was helped by other campers, some of whom carried tent poles. Mrs Lovell said today that the incident was the only one of the holidays. “The people we have here are all very good. This rough element, about six youths, arrived late yesterday and has now gone ■after being ordered out.”
