SEVEN IN HOSPITAL

Accident At Hampden (N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, Jan. 7. Seven persons were admitted to the Oamaru Public Hospital after two cars collided at Mill Dam corner, six miles north of Hampden, at 12.45 p.m. today. The car travelling south was driven by Peter Bryan Timlin, aged 38, of 20 Marlow Street, Dunedin. His passengers were his wife. Doris Timlin, two sons Mark Leslie Timlin, aged 11, and Alan Peter Timlin, 18, and Murdock John McLennan, 18, of 20 St Leonard’s Road, Dunedin.

The driver of the car travelling north was Shirley Elizabeth Parrett, aged 48, of 21 Miles Avenue, Auckland, and her passenger was her niece, Teresa Julie Hyde, aged 10, of the same address. All suffered from lacerations and other injuries and their condition was reported today to be satisfactory.
