Fight Offer To George
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The New Zealander, T. George, has been offered a match with the Thailand feather-weight champion, Sileman Itti-Anuchit, in Bangkok in the new year. Hie Thais want George, the New Zealand feather-weight champion, to fight in Bangkok on his way home from his non-title match with the world junior lightweight champion, Hiroshi Kobayshi, in Tokyo next month. The offer came from Mr Devit Chatikavanij, who managed the two Thai boxers, Sing Tong Por Tor and Gue Sai Chin, when they fought in New Zealand in September, 1965. George beat Gue Sai Chin on points while M. Santos deefated Por Tor.
