CHRISTMAS NEAR MOON

If the Apollo 8 lunar orbital flight proceeds according to plan, the three United States astronauts will spend Christmas near the moon, but will be back on earth shortly before New Year. As now planned, the three: astronauts will be launched at 7.45 a.m. Cape Kennedy | time (12.45 p.m. G.M.T.) on Decembet 21.
