Press Association) WELLINGTON, Dec. 17. 1 The Government had 1 approached people suitable' for membership of the Broad-: casting Authority, but no 1 appointments had yet been: made, the Prime Minister (Mrl Holyoake) said tonight. | The Broadcasting Authority I Act, passed in Parliament last month, provides for an authority of three to be set up. It will consider applications for private broadcasting or television stations and issue warrants for their operation.
