Dr Every’s Research
Sir, —Having benefited from the results of Dr Every’s work I am in a position to advocate wholeheartedly giving all assistance possible to the work in which he is engaged. He has already for a number of years expended all his personal income, time, and energy in scientific investigation. The knowledge gained has had immediate practical value in relieving pain and suffering for many people, and has a deeper and more far-reaching goal of furthering an understanding of the behaviour patterns in man. Your reporter is to be congratulated in exposing a situation which, it would seem, is confirmed by Professor Knox. Indeed, the question is posed as to which comes first, the teacher or the knowledge the teacher is to impart. Let us hope New Zealand has a chance to gain
that knowledge and benefit by it before it is too late.— Yours, etc.. ENZED. . December 17, 1968.
