38 LEFT IN CUP
(N.Z. Press Association) Auckland. Thirty-eight horses were left tn the Auckland Cup after a second payment yesterday of 160. They included the tdp-weights, Ben Lomond. Laramie, Star Belle and Loofah.
Loofah, from Levin, waa one of six acceptors from outside Auckland and the Waikato. A final payment of 360 la due on Saturday, December 28, at 8 p.m., after which poat positions will be drawn. The field is:—
