CLUB GIVEN SUBSIDY
i Purchase Of Hospital The Minister of Health (Mr ; McKay) has informed the Lyttelton Rotary Club that its application for a subsidy of $37,765 (.for the purchase and renovation of the former LytI telton Maternity Hospital has i been granted in full. The hospital will be reopened as the Cressy Residence for the Aged. Mr J. A. Hendry, the Lyttelton Rotary Club’s architect, expects that tenders for the alterations will be called in the New Year, according to the chairman of the club’s community service committee (Mr J. B. Graham).
