GV.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, December 16. A man charged with stealing 512,943.50 in cash and; cheques from George Court and Sons, Ltd, on November; 22, today elected to be tried; by a jury. He is Stanley Neil, Peebles, aged 28. He also elected trial by I jury on a charge of obtain-' Ing credit of $4.15 with a Morrinsville hotel in 1964. Mr D. G. Sinclair, SAI., re- j manded Peebles for a prelim-} inary hearing on January 6.1 Bail was refused.
