MOTOR HOLD. INTERIM
Steady Profit Expected (N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, Dec. 16. Results of Motor Holdings, Ltd, Auckland vehicle assembler and distributor, in the six months to September 30 show about the same rate of profit as for the previous full year, directors say in their interim report. Curent indications were that the second half of the current year would not be less profitable. Interim dividend had been held at 6 per cent, payable on February 17; ex February 1. In the year to March 31, the profit fell 40.6 per cent to $356,958, earned at the rate of 12.7 per cent on funds and 18.8 per cent on capital. The dividend was reduced from 17) per cent to 12) per cent.
