The New Zealand Refrigerating Company, Ltd, Christchurch, earned a group profit of $1,277,783 in the year to October 1. against a loss of $259,686 the year before, directors say in a preliminary report. They have recommended a dividend of 6 per cent, plus a bonus dividend of 1 per cent on the $8,718,944 capital, which will require $310,326 more at $610,326. This is covered twlcf by profit. Last year, the 6 per cent dividend was paid on ssm of capital. The latest profit is the fourth highest and compares with the record of $1,566,000 in 1960. The profit of the parent company in the latest vear was $1,231,112.
