Newcomers In Northern XI

Two promising young batsmen are the only newcomers to the Northern Districts cricket team announced for the Plunket Shield game against Auckland at Hamilton on December 30. They are J. H. Blackmore, aged 19. and D. Lloyd, 20. The side is: M. J. Horton (captain), W. P. Bradburn (vice-captain), A. J. Beuth, Blackmore, J. R, Carson, B. Dunning, Lloyd, L. S. Mountain, N. Puna, H. T. Schuster. J. D. Smith, P. D. Stone.
