He is a free galloper, which as far as 11 furlongs at any rate, stays well. City Court and Native Diver have won middle-distance handi- , caps recently and Springlo, which showed such good autumn form up to a mile, has given promise in his latest training; of coming close to his best 1 again. SECOND LEG Miss Lynette, last seasons A.R.C. Railway Handicap winner, promises to be a hot favourite for the second leg, the Shaw Handicap. In her last race, her third after a spell, she showed all the pace that made her so good last season for a third and it is almost certain she has improved since.
