Gift To Lady Manning
Members and visitors at the Gold Star Mothers’ Club Christmas party were welcomed by the president (Mrs E. Paterson) and the vicepresident (Mrs V. Scott). Specially invited guests included Lady Manning, who was presented with a gift in appreciation of the interest she had taken in the club, Mrs D. Gollan, and Miss E. Neville. Gifts and sweets were presented to members from a well-wisher. The afternoon ended with carol singing.
