(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) NEW YORK, Dec. 13. [ Mr Arthur Hays Sulzberger, Chairman of the board of the “New York Times,” has died in New York at the age of 77. The newspaper came under his directorship on the death of his predecessor, Mr Adolph Ochs, in 1935, and he retired in 1961. He did so, be said then, "because the "rimes’ must never grow old—youth is best served by youth.” Mr Sulzberger was 27 when he joined the “Times.” Later he had this to say about success: “You work very hard, you never watch the clock, you polish up the handle on the front door, and you marry the boss’s daughter.
