NEW .MILITARY VEHICLE.—Several overseas armies are said to be showing keen interest in this new half-ton 88in-wheelbase military vehicle which has been developed in conjunction with the British Fighting Vehicles Research and Development Establishment Already adopted by the British Army, the ingenious vehicle can easily be reduced in weight and bulk by the removal of the hood, body sides, doors, windscreen, bumpers, and spare wheel, which results in austere but robust transport The vehicle can be used as a personnel or cargo carrier, a mobile radio station, recovery vehicle, emergency two-stretcher carrier, mobile workshop, and a reconnaissance and fire service truck.
