More Men For U.S. Forces
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) WASHINGTON, Nov 8. The Defence Department has issued a call for 26,800 men to be drafted into the armed forces in January, the highest total since last May. During the first six months of 1969 draft totals are expected to rise sharply, with an estimated 153,000 men called, compared to 86,800 for the last six months of 1968.
