The first New Zealand open tennis tournament to be held at Auckland from January 29 to February 3 will be called the Benson and Hedges open tournament A member of the promotions committee, Mr B. W. Ryder, said yesterday that in line with other open tournaments overseas there would be provision for multi-spon-sors. Each event will be sponsored separately, and the names of the firms supporting these will be announced shortly.
