ISRAEL P.M.’s STATEMENT

Israel will insist that “~o Jordanian Arab, or any other army will be stationed west of the Jordan, irrespective of what future borders may be," the Prime Minister (Mr Eshkol) has said in Parliament in Jerusalem. Replying to questions, Mr Eshkol said: “Secure boundaries mean a border line that foreign Arab armies will not be permitted to cross”—even after a peace pact had been signed.
