P.M. CABLES SAIGON
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Nov. 7. The Prime Minister (Mr Holyoake) has sent a cable to Saigon in an effort to gain clarification of South Vietnam’s attitude towards peace talks. Mr Holyoake said today he was unable to disclose the contents of his cable. He said he had received a reply and all he was able to say was that things were “fairly confused” in Saigon at present.
