Tobacco Work Wages Up

WELLINGTON, Nov. 6.
Wage increases of up to 96c a week are included in a new award for Northern Industrial District and Wellington tobacco workers, issued by the Court of Arbitration today. Specialist workers also received extra in altered rates. The award includes special holidays for long service with one employer, and is retrospective to August 5.
