Brisbane Team To Tour
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The Australian sprinter, E. Bigby, will lead a Brisbane club team of about 12 athletes on a brief tour of New Zealand during the Christmas holidays. Bigby was a member of the Australian 4 x 100 metres relay team which reached the semi-finals at the Tokyo Olympics. He has a fastest time of 10.2 sec for 100 metres and 20.8 sec for 220 yd. The team will compete in Auckland, Tauranga, Wellington, Wanganui and Nelson.
