Beer Export To Aust.
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON. A Wellington company is planning New Zealand’s biggest beer export drive. The Wellington Beer Exporting Company will ship 1000-dozen bottles of Staples premium export ’ager to Australia on Monday. “We’re trying it on the toughtest market in the world first,” a director of the company, Mr G. B. Cayford said today. “Australians pride themselves on their choice of beers.”
Mr Cayford said the company was supremely confident of promoting and selling the beer.
Company representatives would leave for the United States, Asia and the South Pacific on promotion drives within the next few weeks.
