“48 Hours Of Love”

(N.Z. P. A. -Reuter—Copyright) PARIS, November 5. The French Information Secretary of State (Mr le Theule) has given permission for “48 Hours of Love,” an erotic film marking the debut as a director of the best-sell-ing author, Cecil St Laurent, to be seen by people over 18 years—although the producer has been asked to make two cuts in it. The Film Censors’ Commission last month asked for a total ban on the film which, according to a spokesman for the producer, Georges de Beauregard, contains “very sexy and erotic, but very beautiful” scenes. Cecil St Laurent, author of the “ Caroline Cherie” saga, also wrote the script for the film, which tells of an affair involving an engaged Swedish couple and a married French coupte.
