Fleet Of 31
The National Airways Corporation's fleet today comprises three Boeing 7375, five Viscc.-.nts, 13 Friendships and 10 DC3s. These latter are the airline’s last link with the piston era. The Boeing 737 s will be used only on the main trunk routes in conjunction with the Viscounts. Tbe arrival of the jets will also mean that the Friendships will be able to fulfill their intended role of serving the smaller cities and towns on the secondary routes. The Dakotas, which have been substantially retired from active duty, will continue flying to a few smaller airports not equipped for the Friendships.
