Trade Mission Preparations
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Oct 11. The “advance guard” of the New Zealand Manufacturers’ Federation trade mission to Japan will leave tomorrow. It comprises Mr W. F. Quinn, of the Department of Industries and Commerce, and Mr R. J. Bergman, of the Tourist and Publicity Department. Mr Quinn will assist the embassy staff make final arrangements for the mission’s itinerary and receptions. Mr Bergman will make final arrangements for press conferences. Advance publicity was a factor in the success of the African mission earlier this year and much attention has been paid to this aspect on this mission.
