Detectives Assaulted
Two detectives were assaulted in Gloucester Street near Chancery Lane about 9.30 p.m. on Saturday after they had arrested three men on charges of theft. The policemen are. Detective Sergeant T. O. Tozer and Detective J. M. A. Gott. The three men who were arrested will appear in the Magistrate’s Court this morning on charges of assaulting the police, resisting arrest, and theft.
