Four Road Deaths In North Island

Four persons were killed on North Island roads during the week-end, the Press Association reports.

A girl died when her <ar was involved in a collision with another on the Pukerua Bay hill on Saturday afternoon. She was Miss June Wai, aged 21, of Palmerston North. A woman in the other car, Mrs J. power pole- in Lower Hutt early yesterday. He was Michael Luey, aged 20, single, of Lower Hutt Mr Luey was returning home from a band engagement in Wellington when his car struck the pole. He was alone in the car.
