• CN.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND. The Ellerslie full-back, J. R. Young, won the Auckland Rugby league “Sportsman of the Year” award. A. P. Kriletich, the New Zealand and Marist second row forward, was named “Player of the Year.” Ellerslie beat Mount Albert, the major champion, 16-13, to win the champion of champions title on Saturday.
