‘Delicate’ Talks
(N Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, Sept 15. Government negotiations with the United States on meat exports were continuing and an announcement was expected soon, the Minister of Overseas Trade (Mr Marshall) said today. “We have been making representations for weeks on this very delicate matter. It is not opportune to make any announcement at present but one should not be long delayed.” Mr Marshall said.
