New Zealand Steel Limited FOREMAN-CASTING MACHINE A MODERN continuous steel casting machine is bqing installed at Gienbrook to be commissioned early next year and a vacancy exists for a suitably experienced production foreman to join the supervisory staff. Two experienced men are already appointed at this level and are overseas training at present This appointee will be trained in Canada for approximately three months prior to commissioning date in preparation for training his operating staff. The successful appointee must: * Have had a good education. * Have had at least 3-5 years supervisory experience at foreman level or equivalent * Have the ability to train and lead others. * Be able to accept responsibility and react quickly in emergencies. * Be prepared to work shifts and live in the Waiuku/Glenbrook area. * Have an engineering or mechanical background or practical interest. * Be able to leave for Canada shortly after appointment * Wish to make a career in the steel Industry. A company rental house will be made available in the Waiuku area if required and a good salary will be negotiated.
