Mr R. S. Austin, general manager of the Tourist and Publicity Department, Wellington, was reported on Tuesday as saying another meeting was scheduled for this week. Executives of Air New Zealand, the New Zealand Government Travel Commissioner (Mr L. Manning), the publicity representative (Mr C. Hall), and the senior trade commissioner (Mr A. C. Davys) attended the first meeting.

The meeting decided to “explore a number of possibilities” to enhance the image of New Zealand in Australia.

A spokesman said: “There was a feeling that the image of New Zealand could be fur-

ther advanced and that, wand, co-ordination of the many resources available could Improve the position.”
