LECTURESHIP AWARDED
FourByD.S.LR. Director
The Director-General of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (Dr W. M. Hamilton) has been awarded the first of three lectureships established by the Commonwealth Foundation. He will leave in the middle of this month for six weeks in Zambia, Malawi, Kenya, and Uganda where he will lecture on the organisation of science in developing countries, with particular regard to agricultural research and herd improvement.
He will also have discussions with scientists and scientific administrators in government, private practice and the universities.
