ABERDEEN SALE
Highest Price $llOO "The Press” Special Service MASTERTON, Sept. 13. From a catalogue of 101 two-year-old bulls offered at the Wairarapa Aberdeen Angus Association’s eighth annual sale at Masterton today, 98 were sold at an average price of $509. Three bulls sold for the top price of the sale at $llOO, one of them to Mr H. O. Pannett, of Baldutha. The next highest price was $lO5O and figures tapered off to the lowest price of $3OO. A large bench of buyers from throughout New Zealand kept bidding brisk. In the show Mr I. L. Keats took the Falloon and Derrick Gould cups with a pen of three bulls. The Derrick Gould Cup was for the best pen of three run bulls, and the Falloon Cup for the best unled two-year-old bull at the sale.
