After a short induction course at Rotorua early next year, successful applicants will be sponsored for a fouryear course for B.For.Sc. at Canterbury University. Students can arrange to take the first year at one of the other New Zealand universities but must attend Canterbury University for the second and subsequent years. VACANCY No. 32 RANGER TRAINEES. The New Zealand Forest Service has 24 vacancies. Applicants must be under 20 years of age, in good health and of good physique. Training is spread over four years. The first year is spent in practical forest work and this Is followed by a year in the Ranger School, Rotorua.
