Control Of Firearms
Sir,—lt was most gratifying to read that the Minister of Police has decided to tighten up the control of the issue and possession of firearms very considerably. Whether or not the vast amount of verbiage I have expended during the last 15 years or so in advocating this step has had any effect I cannot possibly tell: but at any rate it is nice to think that my efforts to prevent and reduce casualties may not have been entirely wasted.—Yours, etc., M.T.
