Burglaries Reported
A safety filing cabinet, containing between $2OO and $3OO, was stolen when the premises of E. H. Boyce, Ltd, cartage contractors, in Byron Street, Sydenham, were burgled on Wednesday night.
The cabinet was found on the Old West Coast Road yesterday afternoon. It was broken open, and the money gone.
Babies’ clothing, worth $287, was stolen when the shop of Robinson and Adams, Branston Buildings, Hornby, was broken into yesterday morning. The sum of $lB was stolen when a house in Colombo Street, Cashmere, was broken into yesterday.
