The Right-wing rebellion against the leadership of the Prime Minister (Mr lan Smith) gathered momentum today as an entire local branch of the Rhodesian Front announced its block resignation from the party. “I am totally opposed to the Prime Minister. My branch has resigned from the Rhodesian Front,” announced Mr Joseph Twigg, chairman of the party’s Salisbury Central Constituency Council.
