Officers Of Y.W.C.A.
Mrs M. Shimmln is the new president of the board of directors of the Young Women’s Christian Association in Christchurch. She was elected this week to replace Mrs H. J. Crawford. New members elected to the board are Dr M. Lamont, Sister I. Probert, Mesdames A. Mangos, G. Price, P. Stigwood, J. Warham, and Misses J. Macfarlane and L. Croft. Mesdames G. H. Coley, 1. A. G. McCulloch and W. H. Tanner were re-elected. The standing members of the board are Mesdames H. Brown, J. Fahey, W. Grade, P. Hickling, W. Hides, M. Mete, and D. Penney, and Misses C. Palmer and A. Webb.
Fresh Cheese.—Butter the cut sides of cheese to keep it fresh for any length of time.
