Function For C. T. Wilson
Mr C. T. Wilson, who ended a long and successful race riding career at the end of last season, was the guest at a function arranged by racing men at Ashburton yesterday. On behalf of a large number of jockeys, owners, and trainers who contributed towards a presentation. the ■ Riccarton horseman, A. J, Stokes presented Mr Wilson with a cheque and an inscribed cigarette lighter.
